WavePad Editing Software.
This will let you chop and change videos for what you need.
You download the software from the site. It’s free, has cool little bits and
piece that are useful and it has Q&A sections. Brilliant.
Inside A Dog.
It’s where I started, it has a lot of links to “how to”
guides and it was a really great jumping off point. It has videos and mini “how
to’s and if you’re curious, go here” segments. Worth a look. It’s part of The
State Library of Victoria.
HarperTeen YouTube.
I was distracted here so many times. It has a lot of Book
Trailers, reviews and interviews. Everything you’d want if you’re a young adult
reader or writer, or if you love HarperCollins.
Google.
I know, but it is a godsend! Typing in “how to” saved me so
many times. It’s really simple and you’ll find a lot of results, so you’re sure
to find exactly what you want or need.
Microsoft Movie Maker/iMovie.
I used Microsoft, cause I’m a PC girl, but iMovie is simple
and easy to use as well. This is how the trailer came into being, so they’re
essential pieces in my mind, so download it from the link on the right and have
fun.
WavePad Sound Editor.
LOVE IT! I had so much fun making the audio for the
trailers, that I’m gonna be finding other ways to use this software. It’s
simple, easy and free. And you can download three things from their sound
library before they want you to register the software. Sound engineers are
expensive, but not WavePad.
All the ones I found useful are to the right, but these are
my favourites.
