The Basics

Each one of the posts is interesting, but here, step-by-step, is how to do this for yourself.

1.The Idea.
Figure out what book you’ll do this for and go for it! Have a blast, because it is fun!

2. Do Some Research.
See what’s out there and get some ideas of how you can tailor your book trailer for you.

3. Storyboard.
This will give you a visual idea of what you’re gonna put into it.

4. Get Some Help.
Find others who have skills that you don’t. This will just make a better trailer.

5. Have A Go At It.
The best way to learn is to just give it a go. If it doesn’t work, find out why.

6. Figure Out The Visual Stuff.
Friends and Google are great for finding great images or video. Just make sure it’s okay to use.

7. Figure Out The Audio.
Even if it’s a song or your voice and your computer’s microphone, we’ll still listen.

8. Ask For Advice.
You’re stuck on a problem or curious? Ask a friend of family member what they think.

9. It’s Okay To Change Your Mind.
It’s got to feel right to you. If you don’t like it, change it, so YOU’LL love it!

10. Have FUN!
If you’re not having fun, then try something new and interesting. Put a purple Giraffe in.

Thanks for reading and I hope this has helped. All the technical stuff will be in the next post.
